In the Fall 2026 season we are moving all game assignments to a new system, Assignr. If you haven’t already, you will get an email from Assignr to set up your account and payment profile. The sooner you do this the easier it will be to get you games this season!

As the largest soccer league in Nebraska, we have games every day and time of the week during our seasons. Make your own schedule with self assign or set your availability to get assigned games when you want.
Spring season games start at the end of March and continue through early June. Fall season picks up in August and finishes into November. -
We know referees earn every penny! NYSL pays one of the highest game fees in the country! Pay per game increases as game age and competitive division increase.

If you are new to refereeing, NYSL is a proud participant in the Nebraska Training League!
We offer games perfect for beginner referees to get started with teams that are committed to being a safe environment for new refs to learn their craft (that means they know not to yell at you or criticize your calls). When you get certified with NRDP you will automatically be placed in the Training League until you are ready to move up to higher level games.
